Curious weather!!!

Hey hey hey!!

ANOTHER END OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!! Time flies by,oh yes yes!! =)))

I've just finished reading some texts for my next English class on Monday =))) Well,well...it's FRIDAY,so it means....RELAX....!!!

Unfortunately not for me...=/ I mean NOT EXACTLY only PURE RELAX...cause I have to do some Polish exercises today in a while to spare some time in the future....EHH!! Life!!!! =//


Before I move to the FooD topic I just wanted to do some off-topic...hah..but conected with these days....=)) Hope you'll stay and read a bit =))

It's HALLOWEEN there in the U.S. today =))) Am I right??? I think it's a lot of fun!!

Hah... Actually here in Poland we DO NOT celebrate it....
We DO celebrate at this time....but to be precise it'll be TOMORROW.

Let me explain you HOW it looks like here...=))

On 1st November we have a day which (loosely translated into English ;)) we call the
DAY of ALL HOLY PEOPLE or the DAY of ALL DEAD PEOPLE.....

It is a rather nostalgic,reflexive day....there's no fun,no laugh,no jokes there.... on this day we visit the cementries to stay a while with all the people from our family,our friends,who died...

We care for their graves, bring flowers and ..... we light candles,little torches...little lights on the graves of our dead beloved (or even some unknown!!) people........

Then later when it gets dark all the lights burning ...lightening...they look like... a BIG SEA....

And then on 2nd November we celebrate a Memorial Day.....it's the time in which we just think bout our beloved dead ones...the ones that've gone....always too fast......always in the wrong time...
...we are with them with our thoughts,we speak to them...tryin' to deal with the fact that they've gone...

...and we pray....


Personally I think it is a nice tradition ....makes people rember and belive that there's not JUST the LIFE here on Earth....not just this one....otherwise it'd be no sense in living here...

I like visiting the cemetaries...looking at the lightened candle "sea".....it's a mystic ,nostalgic, thoughtfull moment...a while in which everyone stays calm and quiet...

Sinking in this atmosphere for a while....letting a single tear fall .....leaving with a hug with all the family.....







Hope I haven't bore you...=)) Just thought it'd be nice to tell you...HOW we celebrate these days here in Poland....=))

As you can see it's slightly different..but I LOVE the fact that there are differences all around the world in celebrating special feasts.....!!

Don't you think it's great...so intersting!! Makes you want to explore MORE and MORE !! =D

-CASHEW BUTTER/AGAVE Sandwiches on ESSENE BREAD SPELT

(it's Raw CASHEW BUTTER.....so CREAMY DELICIOUS!!!mm!!)

-Carob/Banana/Brazil nut butter Pudding

(CAN't GO WRONG WITH IT!!! =D)

-Pears (2x)

and a sprinkling of HEMP SEED NUTS.....

It was FABULOUS.....

These are the Trader Joe's "Just Mangoes" .....and THEY'RE DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!! Absolutely DIVINE!!!! I've never had DRIED MANGO before and it was....a FABULOUS flavor!!! BiG pleasure to eat!!!!! You are rigth,Jo, THEY ARE SOO GooD!! =))

OH MY GOD!!!! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! =D Just like a ...peace of CAKE haha =P
It was so sweet and flavorful...with all the different textures...mmmm!! GReat!!

Then I had the MOOOOOOOOST BORING lesson ever...PHYSICS....... oh man,it's like sleeping there for me.....haha...I CAN'T STAND IT!!! I wonder if someone LIKES it..??!! hah..LET ME KNOW!! =DD


My LUNCH...........yeahhh!! It was such a pleasure to dig into sth yummy after all those stressing things hah....Here what I decided to eat...







I finally managed to GET FRESH SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS yay!!!!!!! =D That's So cool!! I've eaten shiitake-s a few times in the past but they were cooked or sauteed etc.

And you know what!!???

THE RAW SHIIITAKE MUSHROOMS are ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! =D I LOVED the flavor and the TEXTURE!! Mmmm...pure goodness =)) Totally satisfied my MUSHROOM-CRAVINGS...=D !!

Try the Shiitake-s in THE RAW,really =DD

I got a PACKAGE from the U.S. today!!!!!!!!! This package came from my FRIEND JOANNA (from A CUP OF JO! blog =)) JOANNA!!!!!!!!!!! YOU're SOO SWEET...!! THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!!!!!!! =D

Changing mood...

Hi !!!!

It's Sunday already!!

And..the weekend comes to the END..ah ah,it was sooo SHORT =( weekend are always WAY TOO SHORT,don't you think..?!!

I hope you're enjoying every minute of it though..=D We should try to relax properly during these days but...well...actually it's not my best side..:<>

All the stupid studying stuff overwhelmed me and I just COULDN'T concentrate at all.. !!!!!! It was really an AWFUL FEELING... you know what I mean =<

Oh..and I was hungry ...ALL THE TIME!! =starving!!!!!

I woke up and....eveything from the school stuff rolled through my head like crazzzy!! It was HORRIBLE... I felt soooo weak... My breakfast,due to this stupid feeling,was VERRRRRY SIMPLE but I wanted sth to make me feel better.......

I created a LAYERED FRUIT SALAD !!!!!!!! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOO colorful!!!!!!! =D Just one look...made me much HAPPIER!!! =)))) The fruit I used to built my SALAD-y:

-APPLES (2x)

-KIWIS (2x)

-PERSIMON/SHARON FRUIT (1x)

-PEARS (2x)

-MANGO (BiG 1x)


It was SOOOO refreshing,light,sweet and DELICIOUS....!!!!! I loved every flavor,all the fruit tasted SOO delish to me... I savoured every bite of it :D

Well...then was........STUDY time...I felt way BETTER ..so I managed to go through some NOT-SO-PLEASANT STUFF hah....

It's due to this LIGHT BREAKFAST,I guess!! But well...actually it was not that bad to feel hunger ,especially that I had sth ..NICE waiting to be eaten!! Haha =DD

MUSHRooM SUN-PATE =)) It is made of:

-WHITE BUTTON MUSHROOMS

-RED ONION

-DILL+PARSLEY

-PEPPER

-NOOCH (nutritional yeast =)) 2-3 TBSP)

pureed with:

- SUNFLOWER SEEDS


The TASTE was DELISH!!!!!!! REALLY ,if YOU LOVE MUSHROOMS AS MUCH AS I DO YOU HAVE TO TRY IT SOME DAY!!!!!!!!! =D

Along with it I had also....

-Russian Style Beet Salad (SPICY!!!!! =)) BEETS+APPLES+CARRPTS+LEEK+Wasabi powder!!)

-cherry tomatoes

and another serving of the

-RYE "FLATBREADS" from Grannie =D !!!!!!

It was all YUM YUM !!!!!! =DD

OH!!!!! And after this savory meal I ENJOYED a piece of A RAW CHOCOLATE BAR !! =D
It was great...PURE CHOCOLATE with Mullberries and Almond in it..mmm mmmmm MMMMM!! =P

I even rolled my banana in it!!!!! =D It was YUMMY!!!!!!! =D

For my last meal I decided to make sth simple but of course TASTY!!
